about
Paige is a recent graduate from the University of Hartford, having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts Management and a minor in Communication. Her hope for the future is to contribute her skills in communication within the theatre industry.
During her studies, some of her favorite classes were Arts Management: Not-for-Profit, Intro to Media, Entertainment Law, Intro to Public Relations, and American Sign Language, and PR Campaigns.
Paige’s interest for Performing Arts Management was sparked by four years of working in the Entertainment Department at Six Flags New England, where she had the chance to perform in various capacities and get a taste of the administrative side of the arts.
As part of her Arts Management Practicum class, Paige had the opportunity to produce a concert for the Connecticut Doctors’ Orchestra, which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, she enjoyed the experience of coordinating a concert, collaborating with others, and managing the orchestra’s social media pages.
During the fall of 2020, Paige interned at Playhouse on Park, a professional theatre in West Hartford. Her tasks included publishing information about upcoming events, working in the box office, and reaching out to schools regarding educational programs. She embraced the opportunity to adapt the arts during these unprecedented times.
In addition to her studies, she participated in campus faith events, played in the pep band at basketball games, and served as the Treasurer of her school’s chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota, an international women’s music fraternity, for two years.
Throughout her life, Paige has welcomed any challenge and persevered through difficult times. A fan of learning comedy improv, she applies the golden rule of improv (“Yes, and…”) to every aspect of her life.
